If you like farming lowbie instances (I do sometimes), that's cool, go for it. You may turn your nose up at paying 100g but if you were an herbalist, think how many high level herbs you could pick in the same time it takes to farm one of these. So the guy who posted a 1.15% was pretty close. I did not include chests in the calculations since some are locked and not everyone is able to open them (Rogues or blacksmiths ftw). I then multiplied each mob's drop rate by the average number of that type of mob in each instance (based on an average of several runs) to get the number of runs it would take to get each item on average.Įither Assassin's Blade or Shadowfang: 1 in 45 runs Wish me luck :iĬomment by AllakhazamI made an Excel spreadsheet and inputted all the mobs in Shadowfang Keep along with the drop rates for each of the bind on equip blue items that drop there. At which point I will immediately equip on my rogue to surpass any further guessing. I will keep going until I find another blade. I usually do 2-3 runs a day, and it takes me an Hour on average to completely clear the keep. ![]() I refuse to pay over 100g for the item, not to mention i havent' seen any in AH since my find. it has been about 60 runs since that drop. Since then I vowed that I would run the keep until I found another. ![]() At the end of the day I decided to keep it and use it to wreck horde. I decided to post it in AH at a 150G buyout and go to work. I sent out some tells in the trade window, couple of 100G offers. My rogue is one thing, the fact I was poor was another thing. Overjoyed with my find I began to debate what to do with it. After 3 runs of the keep with my 44 hunter I found the blade. I have a rogue in the making and really wanted a great weapon for him. You may as well have a decent blade like this Assassin's Blade to carry you the disntance.Ĭomment by AllakhazamI recently started doing runs of SFK to find this weapon. But as we all know, the higher level you get, the harder it is to get into WSG, until you hit 60 where they have as much traffic as 10-19 These are just the level 10-19 rewards, every 10 levels, you will have access to the next tier of goods. The rewards speak for themselves.īelow are just a few of the rewards you can get from WSG if you have enough reputation. What is the point? 10-19 WSG has a lot of traffic, the battles are short, and the reputation comes in fast. Once youre in battle, get Fort, AotWild, Well Fed, Blood Pact, your unstopable! Top on a nice high level enchant, like Life Stealing or Crusader. (Especially Rogues) Unlike normal players, these BG toons wont be using the dagger for days, they will be using them for months. But only if it is for their Level 19 Battle Ground Twink. sighĬomment by ThottbotThe worst part is ppl are willing to pay 50-200 Gold for this level 19 Dagger. With that I logged on my main, and continued farming for this blade. You are unstoppable! 10-19 is the most WSG you gunna see till 60.(With the exeption of 20-29)Check out the reputation rewards for WSG, You just threw away a TON of gold, don't call ME the Nood!" Getting it out of the way early in the game is the way to go, battle are short, rep comes in fast, Get 2 of these blades on your Rogue, with +Stamina gear and Stamina Enchants, you got almost 1K hp unbuffed or more. Me: "Ok look, getting reputation in WSG at level 60 is VERY hard. Its arguably the best level 19 Rogue dagger available" Me: "Its called a level 19 Battleground Twink. Hunter: "Why would a level 60 want this?" Hunter: "Level 19's dont have 50 Gold noob" Me: "You just threw away a TON of gold, ppl are willing to pay 50 Gold for that blade." Me: "You know thats BoE right? You could have sold it." Me: "Thats a very rare drop 0.1% at the best of times." Hunter: "It, dropped for him in SFK, a few minutes ago" I so agree! I saw a 26 Hunter last night with one of these, I ask. If you are over lvl 19 and you equip this.you just threw away TONS of gold. HOWEVER, this is the BEST dagger for BG at lvl 19, and twinks have huge fundage from their mains.Įquip one of these (or two, as they are "one hand" weapons and NOT unique, which means they can be duel-wielded) and you are in business. To all you people saying "im lvl 24 and I want to buy this", go get a better dagger- you wont be using this long, so its not worth the gold. ![]() Comment by Thottbot This dagger has 1 purpose.
